Prada Fall 2012

Before continuing into a review of the collection itself, the creativity and uniqueness of the styling and the decoration of the show. An army of 41 women marched on a purple carpet decorated with Navajo symbols, and were all styled with hair extensions contrasting their hair along with smudged eyes.

Miuccia did a splendid job styling both dresses and skirts over pants. Each of the models carried  either a purse, a satchel or a 'doctor's bag', each completely unique.

Jason Wu for Target

Jason Wu's affordable collection inspired by the idea of "An American Girl in Paris" hits most stores on February 5th. Fifty-three modern and stylish pieces ranging from $19.99 to $59.99 are set to blow your mind.

The accesories, the key pieces, even the ad-campaign and lookbook are fascinating; everything is about style and sophistication- yet every piece is easy to incorporate into a simple and casual outfit.  No matter how or what, Wu's signature clean lines and smart details are present, making every every piece almost unique.

If your local Target won't be selling the collection, everything will also be availabe on their website. So, just marvel at it.

Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture

Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2012 Couture was all about beehives, winged black eyeliner, and a fifties flavor- It was all about Amy Winehouse. Free People January Catalogue

We might be close to the end of January, but theamazingness of one of my favorite brands with their January Catalogue is beyond any calendar month. The best part? The photography is simplyoutstanding and well, Karlie Kloss, and it's shot in New York! What's not to love about this?

Yet, Free People happens to be insanely expensive sometimes, so I reviewed the catalogue and selected a three must-have items this season, all under $150 dollars.

The first is this gorgeous pullover/jumper. You can certainly find cheaper alternatives at Forever21, but this happens to be quite unique. It has a beautiful and pronounced v-neck and slightly oversized sleeves- perfect combination. Wear it how it's stylized in the photograph, or go a little funky with it. It's so perfect, it will look great with almost anything.
