Album Review: The Dirty Heads' Cabin By The Sea

Hailing from Southern California The Dirty Heads are the perfect mixture of reggae and hip hop. After a four year hiatus, they prove that they've come a long way since their first album release, Any Port in the Storm, in 2008. 

On June 19th, they released their second full length album, Cabin By The Sea. 

Dirty J & Duddy B have said that when they were creating this album they wanted it to be an escape. When you were listening to the album, they wanted you to not want to skip any songs and that you would visualize yourself at a "cabin by the sun" every time you listened to the album.

You may not be able to picture yourself at this cabin, but regardless this album is definitely a great one. In fact, postioned at #24, this album has already broken into iTune's overall top albums. 

Kymani Marley, Rome, Matisyahu, and Del the Funky Homosapien are featured on this album which make it even better and help shape the songs into more reggae and hip hop tracks.
