      The Black Keys have been around since 2001, but they only started receiving world-wide attention last year with their release of Brothers. JACK'S MANNEQUIN'S PEOPLE AND THINGS - ALBUM REVIEW

 Jack’s Mannequin is back with a new album, People and Things. The band has matured musically since their last album, The Glass Passenger, which was released in 2008. SingerAndrew McMahon has definitely seen highs and lows in the past seven years. The band’s wild success in 2004 with Everything in Transit made it seem like Jack’s Mannequin was unstoppable. Unfortunately, in June of 2005, Andrew was diagnosed with leukemia, which forced him to cancel upcoming shows. Through his music and live shows, Andrew fought hard against cancer and won his battle. This album release clearly shows all of Andrew’s inner thoughts and struggles. People and Things is an inspirational album that you should definitely pick up.

ALL TIME LOW'S DIRTY WORK - ALBUM REVIEW

            Pop-punk band All Time Low has released their fourth studio album, Dirty Work, on June 7th.  Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, this four-piece band has truly proven to the world their capabilities. With numerous sell-out shows on worldwide tours, this band seems to be unstoppable. Dirty Work is All Time Low’s major label debut, released by Interscope Records. On the day of release, the album reached number one on iTunes Top Albums chart. Fans are skeptical of this new release because All Time Low has taken on a slightly new genre of music. Compared to past records, this new release has more of a pop sound. Nevertheless, Dirty Work is filled with quirky lyrics and fun beats.

THE LONELY ISLAND'S TURTLENECK & CHAIN - COMEDY ALBUM REVIEW

            The hilarious trio, The Lonely Island, recently released their second studio comedy album titled Turtleneck & Chain. The Lonely Island consists of Saturday Night Live regular Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone. These three have been writing comedy sketches and songs since childhood. Once discovered by SNL, they were an instant hit in the viral scene with their infamous “Lazy Sunday." Their first studio album, Incredibad, featured comedy tracks that were digital shorts on SNL, and it was a big hit. Finally, the boys are back, with twelve fabulous new tracks on Turtleneck & Chain, with guest appearances by Rihanna, Michael Bolton, Justin Timberlake, and more.
