Jack’s Mannequin is back with a new album, People and Things. The band has matured musically since their last album, The Glass Passenger, which was released in 2008. SingerAndrew McMahon has definitely seen highs and lows in the past seven years. The band’s wild success in 2004 with Everything in Transit made it seem like Jack’s Mannequin was unstoppable. Unfortunately, in June of 2005, Andrew was diagnosed with leukemia, which forced him to cancel upcoming shows. Through his music and live shows, Andrew fought hard against cancer and won his battle. This album release clearly shows all of Andrew’s inner thoughts and struggles. People and Things is an inspirational album that you should definitely pick up.

On the day of release, the album reached number one on iTunes Top Albums chart. Fans are skeptical of this new release because All Time Low has taken on a slightly new genre of music. Compared to past records, this new release has more of a pop sound. Nevertheless, Dirty Work is filled with quirky lyrics and fun beats.
