TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION

On March 3rd Japanese girls celebrated the Girls' Festival, now the 14th Tokyo Girls Collection, which is the biggest fashion & culture event of the year and goes by the name of "TGC" held in the Yokohama arena. The theme? "Sherbet garden" which is associated with the key words "sherbet colors" from the S/S 12 collection.

Not only models but also entertainers, actors, actresses, and singers put enthusiasm into the lots of girls at the hall.

 

 

What the girls were excited about the event was that they could buy the products which the models were wearing on the Internet(using their cellphones) at once. And at the booth, events such as wearing nail polishes and wedding dresses free were held.

Online flea markets are where models sell their own clothes as well as where the charity bracelet will be contributed through for the Japanese Red Cross Society to reconstruct Tohoku, which is a stricken area of the great disaster about a year ago.

Japanese fashion & culture is powerful, inspiring and help cheer people up in Japan.
