Fashion's Night Out 2012
The fourth annual Fashion's Night Out will take place on September 6th this year. An invention of fashion heavy weight and editor-in-chief of American Vogue Anna Wintour, Fashion's Night Out was first launched to boost the economy in 2009 but has now spread to over a dozen countries. Events often include late night sales, complimentary champagne, celebrity appearances, and live music.
This year reality stars Kim Kardashian and Jill Zarin of the Real Housewives of New York City are making appearances at Lord & Taylor. Diane von Furstenberg's party will be hosted by Allison Williams, star of the HBO show “Girls”, and will be deejayed by Solange Knowles. Alexis Bittar's SoHo Boutique will be offering $50 gift certificates to anybody who will sing at their karaoke party (free cocktails will be provided, thank the lord).
Any worn-out men who are sick of all the fashion fuss can make their way to Macy's third floor where they have created a designated “man cave” in which one can drink brandy, roll cigars, and meet the Knicks City Dancers.
