RACHEL ZOE - FASHION INSPIERER
Most of you know Rachel Zoe from her hit show "The Rachel Zoe Project" on Bravo but if you don't know about her and her love of all things fashion there is so much to learn. Rachel is a highly notable Stylist to the stars like Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway, and Molly Sims to name a few. She works closely with many of these celebrities and styles them for numerous red carpet events such as the Oscars, Emmys, and the MET Ball. In addition to doing that she also helps them choose event appropriate ensembles for Movie Premiers, Charity Events, etc. Other than working with these celebrities she also has a highly successful clothing line which she sells on the home shopping channel QVC and also collaborates with Piperlime.com who features a section called Rachel Zoe's Picks where she names her favorite trends of the moment.
The Zoe Report is Rachel's website that talks about everything fashion including Beauty, Accessories, Apparel, and Jewelry. While on the website you can sign up to get her daily e-mail which tells you about Rachel's favorite item of the moment and the awesome thing is since most of the items she suggests are probably over everyone's budget she has a section at the bottom of the e-mail called Parallel Universe where she suggests a stylish but cheaper version of the aforementioned item. The website also features a section called Ask Rachel in which readers can write the style icon and get fashion advice on everything from what to wear to an outdoor music festival to how to wear the latest bright colored Spring trends.
Rachel Zoe is also a trend setting pioneer, her and friend/client Nicole Richie started the 'boho chic' look which features over-sized jewelry with loose fitting dresses and shirts on a very small body frame. Zoe can also be spotted in one of her favorites the maxi dress very often and has said that when you are short in height wearing a maxi dress can elongate your frame making you look taller. Rachel can always be seen rocking her trademark over sized sunglasses, which she calls "sunnys", and many of her oversized rings, bracelets, and necklaces. You all know the old fashion rule 'Take one jewelry item off before leaving the house' so you can avoid looking gaudy...well Rachel thinks the more jewelry the better and says that wearing the right jewelry can make or break a great outfit.
